Joan Jordan, 97, of Logansport passed away Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on Feb. 23, 1920 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Roy Charles and Blanche Ellen (Whitinger) Kilborn. On May 31, 1941 in Jellico, Tennessee, she married Jack Frederick Jordan who preceded in death on Jan. 20, 1975.
Joan retired in 1987 from the Gift Box after 13 years of service. She was a member of Cross Wind United Methodist Church and the Sarah Hay Group of the Church.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Jordan of Dallas, Texas, and Patrick Jordan of Logansport; grandchildren Drs. Jennifer Jordan and William Adams, Dallas, Texas; Eric (April) Jordan, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Jeffrey (Lesley) Jordan, Dallas, Texas; Christopher (Wendie) Jordan, Johnson City, Tennessee; Wendy Jones, Logansport; Stephanie (Curtis) Supperd, Kokomo; and 11 great-grandchildren, Hannah Jones, Christopher Jones, Maloree Justice, Sydney Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Brooke Adams, Luke Adams, Clint Jordan, Clay Jordan, Jack Jordan and Emma Jordan.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Margaret Smith and Mary Kelly, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Jordan.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Nick Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
