Jayne Garrard McCullough, 78, of North Salem, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon.
She was born on June 15, 1938, in Logansport, the daughter of the late Percy Earl Garrard and Ruth Gertrude (Kline) Garrard.
Jayne was a longtime resident of Boone County and a 1956 graduate of Lebanon High School.
She was first married to Harry Deffenbaugh; they later divorced. Jayne was then married to Carroll Gene McCullough and he survives.
Jayne worked as a waitress and bartender at Ulen Country Club in Lebanon. She had previously worked at Ross Jewelers in Indianapolis and most recently she worked at Conseco Insurance.
Jayne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crafts and sewing in her spare time. She was an avid fan of NASCAR, always cheering on Tony Stewart.
Survivors include husband, Gene McCullough of North Salem; three sons, Douglas (Mary Jane) Deffenbaugh and Scott (Kim) Deffenbaugh, both of Lebanon, and Robb Deffenbaugh of Nashville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services are to be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St. in Lebanon. Entombment will follow the services at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Martinsville.
Visitation is planned from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at the funeral home in Lebanon.
