James R. Antrim, 30, Logansport, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in his home following a two-year battle with COPD lung disease.
Born April 24, 1987, in Logansport, he was the son of Jeff and Frances (VanEs) Antrim.
A 2006 graduate of Logansport High School, James had worked in the heating and cooling business. The past five years, James had been employed with Goodrich Mechanical.
James loved being a father and enjoyed time with his son. He also enjoyed coaching his nephews in T-ball. He had a big heart and would help anyone who needed a hand. He had a natural ability to fix things and loved "tinkering" with projects.
Surviving are his parents, Frances and Shane Vitello, Jeff and Pam Antrim; son, Callan; grandfather, Frank VanEs; grandmother, Donna Clark; brother, Michael Antrim; sister, Stormie (Miguel) Rivera; niece, Alexia; nephews, Kaden, Edison and Nicholas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Babe VanEs and Dean Antrim.
A memorial service celebrating James' life will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
Family and friends will gather 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral chapel.
Memorials contributions may be made to a trust fund for his son, Callan.
