Howard Glen Huddleston, 81, Middleborough, Massachusetts, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at home with his son Mitch and daughter-in-law Deb Huddleston at his side.
He was born June 10, 1935, to Edgar and Beatrice Huddleston.
Glen retired from Chrysler, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was an active member of the Masons.
Two years ago he moved to Massachusetts to live with his son and family; he was excited to start this new journey of life. Glen was happy these last two years, being able to spend time with his family and going fishing with his son. These last two years were long awaited and cut too short, however it was the happiest two years of his and his children's life with many memories being made.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife Agnes; six brothers, James, Zebedee, Stanley, Paul, JP and Wendell; two sisters, Ersey Huddleston and Evelyn Ridenhour; and a grandson, Devin Huddleston. A great family reunion was waiting when he arrived next to a big fishing hole.
He is survived by one sister, Shirley Storey (Iowa); his four children, Melodie Huddleston and Jim Zapp (Florida), Mitchel and Deb Huddleston (Massachusetts), Tim and Michell Huddleston (Florida), Glenda and Gary Chambers (Indiana); a stepdaughter, Barbara Sharp (Indiana); eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Glen's life will be Saturday, April 8, near Logansport; time and location are pending.
