Donna L. Kelley, 88, Twelve Mile, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, in her residence.
Born June 30, 1929, in Miami County, she was the daughter to the late Emory and Elsie (Boldry) Sheets. On June 3, 1951 in Young America, she married Marvin R. Kelley, who survives.
After marriage she worked briefly for the H.W. Gossard Co. before taking a full-time management position at home. Donna was a former volunteer at the 4-H fair grounds, working in the community building. She also enjoyed camping, square dancing and spending time with family.
Surviving along with her husband Marvin are five sons, Tim (Elaine) Kelley, Salisbury, North Carolina; Brad (Karen) Kelley, Twelve Mile; Brent (Melissa) Kelley, Logansport; Ryan (Ruth) Kelley, Elkhart; Calvin Jay (Kathy) Kelley, Osceola; two daughters, Marna Dillman (Terry Maroney) Lucerne, and Ginger (Mike) Buchanan, Winamac; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Doyle Sheets.
A celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fulton Cemetery, Fulton.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, also in the funeral home. There will be an additional hour of visitation on Wednesday immediately before the funeral.
