Carl O'Brien, 91, Logansport, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, in Chase Center, Logansport.
Born Jan. 4, 1926, in Logansport, he was the son to the late Larus and Mildred May (Davidson) O'Brien.
On Nov. 27, 1948, in Logansport, he married Betty Jane Todd, who survives.
Carl was a retired semi driver. He also worked at General Tire. Carl was a member of the Teamsters Union, American Legion Post 60 and was a Missing In Action WWII Army Airborne veteran.
Surviving along with his wife Betty is one daughter, Jenean Carlene (Kim) Woodward, Flora; one grandson, Carl Joseph Roland and fiancée Brooklyn Carithers, Flora; three granddaughters, Cambree Michele Roland, Flora; Cheyenne Woodward, Flora; Sierra Woodward, Flora; three great-granddaughters, Jade Johnston, Olivia Berkshire, Brystal Roland; a sister-in-law, Maxine Thomas, Jacksonville, Florida; and three sisters, Mildred (Hyland) Sherman, Logansport; Betty O'Brien, Logansport; and Virginia (Homer) Hettinger, Star City.
Carl was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry O'Brien, Robert O'Brien, Thomas O'Brien, and one sister, Mary Jane O'Brien.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Teri officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at Gundrum Funeral Home.
