Carl Forgey, 70, rural Camden, died unexpectedly at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at his home.
He was born in Logansport on Sept. 8, 1946, the son of Thomas I. and Ruthina Sprinkle Forgey. He was a 1964 graduate of Camden High School. Carl was a farmer and a trucker.
On Oct. 25, 1968, at the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church, he married Pam Sheagley, and she survives. Also surviving are sons, Doug and Jason Forgey, both of rural Camden; grandchildren, Rebekah Forgey, Kokomo, and Joseph Forgey, rural Camden; two brothers, Hobart and Chuck Forgey, both of rural Camden; and sister, Christina Kennel, Fort Wayne.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Cree Funeral Home in Camden. Pastor Mike Stowe will be officiating. Friends may call after the service until 8 p.m. in Cree Chapel.
